On the dock is the 1937 Trout Lake Station crew, left to right: Ed Nelson, Howard Knudson, Don Broughton, Ed Schneberger, Eldon Warner, Albert Dimond, Bartsch, W.M. Manning, Carpenter, Bill Stark, C.L. Schloemer, Dick Juday, L.P. Whitney, and Albert Pavlic.

Trout Lake Station and Center for Limnology Alumni and Friends came together May 31st – June 2nd, 2024 to celebrate our “LimnoCentennial.” The event was hosted both on Station and in Boulder Junction and included time to connect with many generations of Trout Lakers, reflections on TLS science over the decades, and a special presentation of the lifetime broken prop award. See TLS Newsletter 2024 for lots of photos and articles.

It was a weekend of shared meals, tours, boating, volleyball and bonfires; a chance to make new memories “on Station” as we celebrated the first century of limnology at TLS and look forward to another hundred years!
