Calling all Trout Lake Station and Center for Limnology Alumni and Friends! Please join us May 31st – June 2nd, 2024 to celebrate our “LimnoCentennial.” The event will be hosted both on Station and in Boulder Junction and will include time to connect with many generations of Trout Lakers, reflections on TLS science over the decades, and a special presentation of the lifetime broken prop award!

Don’t miss this weekend of shared meals, tours, boating, volleyball and bonfires. It’s a chance to make new memories “on Station” as we celebrate the first century of limnology at TLS and look forward to another hundred years! We have scheduled the event to easily include travelers to Madison for ASLO 2024 to be held June 2 – June 7th. Round trip transportation to and from Madison is an option for attendees.

Registration includes a Friday evening Welcome Reception and appetizers, continental breakfast on Saturday, recreation, reception & dinner at Trout Lake Station on Saturday and continental breakfast on Sunday;

*Lodging, travel, and Saturday Lunch is not included in Registration.


Optional- please select during your registration

Cost: $120 – Transportation will be provided from Madison to Trout Lake Station on May 31 and return on June 2. This will also include transportation between Boulder Junction Community Center and Trout Lake Station throughout the weekend.


Price is not included in your registration but multiple venues in the Boulder Junction Area are holding blocks for our event!

Accommodations requiring driving

  • Camp Manitowish ($55 per person per night, 12 person bunk rooms, or family style cabins with outdoor bathroom. Quiet hours enforced and no alcohol permitted on site). *Contact Amber Mrnak ( if you choose this option!
  • White Birch (prices vary:
  • UW Kemp Natural Resource Station ($25 per person per night in the Lodge shared housing;
  • Additional campgrounds, AirBnB, and hotels are available in the greater Minocqua area. Please reach out if you have questions.
