Goodbye & Hello

Amber headed off to Iowa, where she is getting back into teaching science, while her husband, Joe Mrnak (PhD, Vander Zanden 2024) starts research on the Mississippi River for the Iowa DNR.

Carrie joins us from St. Norbert’s College in De Pere, WI, where she was an associate professor of biology and environmental science. Carrie is excited for her career shift and ready to make sure Trout Lake Station continues to run smoothly, helping researchers succeed in their projects, and jump into our community outreach efforts.
