I am a Masters of Library and Information Science student in the iSchool at UW-Madison. My focus is in archives with a specialization in digital archives. I was born and raised in Southeast Alaska and spent much of my life on or near the ocean. The experiences I had growing up led to a deep appreciation of freshwater and marine life. I have a background in chemistry and am excited to incorporate that experience into my work preserving CFL’s history. Many of my duties relate to increasing access to CFL’s manuscript, photograph, film, and audiovisual collections. This is done by digitizing materials, creating metadata and finding aids, and identifying collections to make available online.
