Welcome

Overview

I'm a graduate student in the Limnology and Marine Sciences program at the University of Wisconsin Madison, and a member of Dr. Emily Stanley's River Ecology Lab in the Center for Limnology.

Currents

My research falls under the umbrellas of biogeochemistry, ecosystem ecology, aquatic ecology, and limnology (see Research for details).

I also teach an upper division undergraduate lab course (Zoology 316: Limnology Laboratory).

Headwaters

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and earned B.S. degrees in Biological Sciences and Environmental Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2003.

My colleagues at the Center for Limnology continue a strong tradition of interdisciplinary aquatic research that was pioneered at the University of Wisconsin over one hundered years ago. This tradition has contributed immensely to our understanding of the aquatic environment over the years.
