I study aquatic ecosystems, with a focus on understanding ecological responses to large-scale system changes such as species invasions.  I am currently a dissertator at the Center for Limnology (Univ. Wisconsin) in Jake Vander Zanden’s lab, where I have received broad training in both ecological theory and research techniques.  My work has largely been collaborative, and has included studies based on field surveys, in-stream experimentation, and statistical models, especially models designed to forecast species distributions. Please visit my research page for more information on past and current endeavors.
