What's happening now in the Limnology Library?

Summer 2008

NEW BOOKS have been added to the Limnology Library's collections at both Trout Lake Research Station and the Hasler Lab.

JOURNALS missing from the shelf? That's because we sent the 2007 runs to the bindery. Don't worry - they'll be home soon. Ask a librarian for help finding what you need.

About the Limnology Library

The Limnology Library is a non-circulating library that collects materials on the topics of limnology and freshwater ecology in order to support research at the UW-Madison Center for Limnology. The Library is located in Room 211 of the Hasler Laboratory for Limnology.

Trout Lake Station, a field research station in Vilas County, is also home to a small library of limnology-related materials. For more information on the Center for Limnology and its field stations, please see the Center for Limnology link above.

The materials in the main Limnology Library and the Trout Lake Library are primarily donated by faculty at the Center for Limnology.

Personnel associated with the Center for Limnology may check out materials for use in their offices. Materials may not leave the building.
