"Kites on Ice"
Kites on Ice is a Wisconsin winter kite festival that attracts an estimated 80,000 visitors over the course of one weekend. Outdoor activities on Lake Mendota include: Kite flying, kite skiing, giant kites, ground displays and a skating rink. Indoor activities include kite workshops, indoor kite flying, and a “Kite as Art” exhibit. Kites on Ice is in its 6th year.
